STORY EVENTS TAKE PLACE AFTER SEASON 4 THEY ARE 15! FRESHMAN! (au where vecna is killed. the byers, el, and hopper move back to hawkins. upside down still exits. also, el has hair. ignoring volume 2 cause i dont wanna wait) SPOILERS FOR SEASON 4!!!!!!! {ELMAX} Max Mayfield survived. She did what no one expected, not even herself. But, her time in Vecna's prison still haunts her. No one knows what Max expeirenced while under his hold. She sees him everywhere, in everything. Her headaches and nightmares are worse now. The sounds of clocks make her flinch. Her mother married another douche bag who is worse than Neil ever was. Max is seeing three doctors a week. And worst of all, she is starting to hate her favorite song. El Hopper killed Vecna. She saved Hawkins again and she saved her best friend. Her dad survived and El can't be with him enough. She moved back to Hawkins too. But, something is off with Mike. He's... distant and spending more time with Will than every. She has Max, but something is off there too. Her feelings for Max are different than they once where. She wants to tell her, but Max won't talk to anyone, not even El. With everyone back together again, things should be better than ever. And they are, everyone is happy again and they all get to attend high school together. The groups dynamic is better than ever. Only, things are off. Max is more paranoid than ever. Soon, something happens that changes everything. They quickly realize that even though Vecna may be dead, Hawkins is still cursed.
